Job Description
Installation Group Leader
- The Installation Group Leader (IGL) provides oversight and communication for the Installation and Enhancement Teams. This person will have constant interaction with the Landscape Enhancement Manager, Account Managers and Team Leaders. Routine communication with clients is needed for quality control and property requests. The IGL supervises the installation function and specific teams within the installation division of Falling Leaves. In addition, this individual will support enhancement sales with technical input for hardscape projects. Organization and communication skills are a must to ensure team development and property oversite. Our ideal candidate will have a commitment to quality of work within budgeted hours, speak Spanish, and support material procurement.
Position Overview:
The IGL is a part of the production Team at FL, and oversees all production functions of the team:
- Position reports directly to the Enhancement Manager
- Works with minimal supervision and leads 3-4 teams of 2-4 members per team in an efficient and productive manner while performing services; motivate, coach and mentor Teams.
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including, but not limited to excavators, skid steers, dump trailers, dump trucks, and general landscape equipment.
- Perform landscape construction duties, such as irrigation, grading, soil preparation, subgrade preparation, retaining walls, pavers, sod installation, planting installation, and water features.
- Establish job schedules, perform and manage projects to schedule and coordinate all equipment/ material needs.
- Trains and promotes the development of Team Members using industry and company standard.
- Ability to read and scale blueprints and technical drawings.
- Observes and enforces safety procedures and company policies. Reports any safety concerns to the Enhancement Manager.
- Utilize technical pruning, floriculture, and plant, insect, and disease identification.
- Takes a proactive approach in selling small enhancements and improvements for clients. Involves the Enhancement Manager for larger projects.
- Is proactive in ways to improve efficiency. Is responsible for keeping facility and trucks organized utilizing 5S. Is responsible for maintaining inventory control within the division.
- Assist with employee recruiting and selection.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising landscape installation
- A two-year degree in Horticulture or equivalent job-related experience
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications. Conversational Spanish is a requirement.
- Experience with Microsoft suite, Outlook email and landscape specific software
- High level of accountability for results to ensure production and quality.
- Experience with oversight of three direct reports
- Valid GA driver’s license and insurable.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.

Job Description
Enhancement Team Leader
- The Enhancement Team Leader (ETL) provides leadership and direction to the Enhancement team. This person will have constant interaction with the Enhancement Group Leader and Team Members. The ETL serves as the working supervisor on the job site and is actively involved in the complete hardscape, plant and soft-scape installation. Organization using 5S on job-site, trucks and warehouse areas is key to production and organization. Individual must be organized and have strong attention to detail. This position requires a strong work ethic and is committed to achieving goals.
Position Overview:
The Enhancement Team Leader is a part of the production Team at FLLC, and oversees all production functions of the team:
- Position reports directly to the Enhancement Group Leader.
- Supports FLLC Mission Statement and Core Values.
- Works with minimal supervision and leads a team of 2-3 people in an efficient and productive manner.
- Maintains a clean and safe job site at all times, monitors all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance. Ensuring proper safety techniques are utilized to protect the Team from injury is key.
- Trains and promotes the development of team members in the best practices of installation and company standards.
- Sets team goals for specific periods of the day, meets to discuss specific plan to accomplish team goals 2-3 times per day while on site and within budgeted hours for each work order.
- Supervises team members, equipment and material with minimal supervision to accomplish production schedules within established budget hours.
- Reads work orders, parts lists, and other instructions. Ensures all equipment and resources are ready for the job site daily, efficient loading of trucks and minimizing lost time is key.
- Utilize technical pruning, floriculture, and plant, insect, and disease identification.
- Assists Enhancement Group Leader with layout of jobs and job measurements.
- Communicates any equipment problems to Facility Manager and ensures equipment is turned in for repair.
- Reports any safety concerns to Enhancement Group Leader and plays key role in resolution.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of (1-2) years of Project Enhancement experience.
- Completion of a two or four-year degree in Horticulture or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in the green industry.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications. Conversational Spanish is needed.
- Self-motivated individual who sets his/her own personal and professional goals.
- High level of accountability for results in order to ensure production and quality.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.

hardscape, pruning, plant and soft-scape installation. Individual must be energetic and have the
ability to follow instructions.
Position Overview:
The Enhancement Lead-man is a part of the production Team at FLLC, and supports all team production
functions:
- Position reports directly to the Enhancement Team Leader.
- Works with minimal supervision and supports a team of 1-2 Crew-man in an efficient and
productive manner. - Maintains a clean and safe job site at all times, monitors all tools, equipment and machinery for
needed maintenance. - Trains and promotes the development of Team Members in the best practices of installation and
company standards. - Support to the ETL with equipment and material with minimal supervision to meet established
budget hours. - Ensures all equipment and resources are ready for the job site daily, efficient loading of trucks

Maintenance Team Leader
- The Maintenance Team Leader (MTL) provides leadership and direction to the Maintenance team. This person will have constant interaction with the Group Leader and Team Members. The MTL serves as the working supervisor on the job site and is actively involved in the complete maintenance, mowing and trimming techniques on a daily basis. Organization skills are a must to ensure safety for team members, truck and job-sites. A commitment to quality of work within the budgeted hours. Individual must be organized and have strong attention to detail.
Position Overview:
The Landscape Maintenance Team Leader is a part of the production Team at FLLC, and oversees all production functions of the team:
- Position reports directly to the Group Leader.
- Works with minimal supervision and leads a team of 2-3 people in an efficient and productive manner.
- Maintains a clean and safe truck at all times, monitors all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance.
- Trains and promotes the development of team members in the best practices of maintenance and company standards.
- Manages and schedules labor, equipment and material to accomplish mowing production
schedules within established budgets. Maintains strict adherence to established schedules
and budgets. - Utilize technical pruning, plant ID, and floriculture.
- Communicates any equipment problems to management and ensures resolution.
- Observes and enforces safety procedures and company policies.
- Reports any safety concerns to Group Leader and plays key role in resolution.
- Troubleshoots and solves problems as needed.
- Operation of all maintenance related equipment, zero turn mowers, edger’s, blowers and
weed-eaters.

- A minimum of (1-2) years of Maintenance Supervisor experience.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication. Conversational Spanish is needed.
